Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Maharashtra on Sunday to inaugurate different projects. PM Narendra Modi reached Nagpur in the morning, where he flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train running between Nagpur to Bilaspur. After this he inaugurated the first phase of Nagpur Metro. He also traveled with school students in the metro. The PM was also seen interacting with the children during this period. PM then laid the foundation stone of the second phase of Nagpur Metro. Along with this, he gifted AIIMS to Vidarbha region.

PM Narendra Modi also addressed the public regarding these schemes. In this, he said, “There are two special things in the schemes that have been launched today. Both these are different types of infrastructure projects. Like Vande Bharat and AIIMS are different types of projects. For the first time in the country, there is such a government, which has Infrastructure has been given a human form. There has been a human touch in all our projects. When there is no sensitivity in infrastructure works, they do not have a human form. Only iron and stone are visible, then the general public has to bear the loss. “

Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari, CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari were also present during the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony.

Samruddhi Marg inaugurated
PM Modi then inaugurated the first phase of the Samriddhi Highway being built between Nagpur-Mumbai. The first phase of 520 km from Nagpur to Mumbai of the total 701 km long expressway has been completed. This expressway, being built at a cost of 55,000 crores, will pass through 10 districts of Maharashtra and major urban areas of Amravati, Aurangabad and Nashik. The expressway will help improve connectivity to 14 other districts nearby, thereby helping in the development of about 24 districts in the state, including the regions of Vidarbha, Marathwada and northern Maharashtra.

AIIMS inaugurated at Nagpur for Vidarbha region
PM Modi has also given a big gift for the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. He inaugurated AIIMS at Nagpur with modern capabilities. The foundation stone of this AIIMS was laid by the PM in July 2017. This AIIMS will prove to be important in providing modern medical facilities to the entire Vidarbha region. Especially for the people living in areas like Gadchiroli, Gondia and Melghat, this AIIMS was needed for a long time.

Rail projects will start in Vidarbha
The Prime Minister will launch rail projects worth over Rs 1,500 crore at a public function in Vidarbha.
