Nagaur, As per the intention of the State Government, on the first Thursday of the month at the Gram Panchayat level, on the second Thursday at the sub-division level and on the third Thursday at the district level, a public hearing was organized on Thursday under the chairmanship of District Collector Arun Kumar Purohit in the IT Center located at the Collectorate Auditorium at the District Headquarters. District level public hearing was organized.
In this, complaints of complainants from the district were heard in the presence of Nagaur MLA Harendra Mirdha, Additional District Collector Champalal Jinagar, Sub Divisional Officer Govind Singh Bhichar and other district level officials. During this time, block level officers also remained connected virtually, whom the District Collector directed to immediately resolve the complaints of the concerned block.
During this time, Jannat, a resident of Loharpura, requested for the treatment of her daughter-in-law from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. During this time, information came to light that due to his ration card not being linked to Ayushman Yojana, he was not able to get the benefit of treatment from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
On this, the District Collector directed the Sub Divisional Officer to take cognizance on the spot and provide the benefits of the scheme as per the rules. Besides, instructions were also given to the Medical Officer to ensure that every possible effort is made for free treatment by linking the woman with the government scheme. Even on this, the woman could not understand properly, so the District Collector, speaking in Marwari language, said, ‘Mother, give your number to the officials, they will call you themselves.’
During this time, when an elderly woman complained, the District Collector himself got up and came out, sat on the chair near her and listened to the complaint of the elderly woman with a heartfelt spirit and assured to provide every possible solution.
On the one hand, the cordial feeling of the District Collector was seen in the public hearing held on Thursday, while on the other hand, Keshar Singh, a resident of Singhani, got the benefit of the seventh salary through the public hearing. He reached the public hearing and expressed his gratitude to the District Collector.

In the monthly meeting of the District Public Deprivation Prosecution and Vigilance Committee held on Thursday at the district level, the District Collector, after listening to various complaints, got the resolvable cases resolved on the spot. During this meeting, the Principal of Mahatma Gandhi Government School located in Bakhtsagar of the city complained about taking action regarding the lease of the sports ground, Ajmeri Gate resident Shokat Khan complained about getting the leases issued against the rules and Ajmeri Gate resident Islamuddin complained about not giving copies. But the District Collector instructed the Municipal Council Commissioner to find a solution immediately.
During this, the District Collector asked the Municipal Council Commissioner to issue notice to the guilty officers and personnel who were negligent. On the complaint of water not reaching Sufia Colony near Tausar, the District Collector directed the Municipal Council Commissioner to inspect the spot and take appropriate action regarding various complaints including sewerage connection, lease complaints, encroachment.
In the public hearing, on the complaint of getting the leases issued against the rules by the former Chairman and the former Commissioner on the road located behind the ADM residence, the District Collector told the complainant that the investigation will be done by forming a committee under the chairmanship of the SDM.
During this time, on the demand of the complainant to get the scholarship paid, the District Collector directed the officials of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. Departmental Deputy Director Kishnaram Lol said that the scholarship has been approved and will be paid when the budget comes.
On the complaint of pending scholarship applications by the Labor Department, the District Collector directed the departmental officers to submit monthly reports including the applications still pending and the appeals made by the applicants. During this time, on the complaint of a complainant from Satheran regarding opening of road, the District Collector instructed the Tehsildar on the spot to get information from the complainant and resolve it immediately.
In the public hearing, the District Collector seriously listened to the various cases received from across the district and directed the concerned officers to dispose of them on the spot. During this period, he addressed various issues including providing assistance for dialysis treatment, filling of potholes dug on the roadside, making payments under Kisan Samman Nidhi, complaints related to caste certificate, water extraction, getting MNREGA payment, payment of scholarship, encroachment. Instructed the concerned officers to immediately resolve many complaints related to sewerage, drinking water supply, electricity connection, palanhar, food security scheme.
