Raja Bhaiya’s father and two VHP leaders close to him were under house arrest till 9, also guarded outside the house


Pratapgarh. Uday Pratap Singh, father of Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya and his two VHP leaders have been placed under house arrest by the district administration till 9 pm on August 9. Now both the VHP leaders including Uday Pratap will not be able to leave the house till the Muharram procession is over. A tight police guard has also been put up outside the house of the three.
In fact, Bhadri Naresh Raja Uday Pratap Singh sat on a dharna in Kunda Tehsil premises on Wednesday in protest against the gate for Muharram in Sheikhpur Ashiq village of Kunda. On getting the information, Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Shahpur village, Jugnu Vishwakarma, executive district president of Bajrang Dal Kashi province, department’s foster officer Mohanlal also joined the dharna with the supporters. On Thursday too, both the leaders sat on a dharna along with Uday Pratap Singh. On Friday morning, the police monitored Jugnu Vishwakarma and Mohanlal after the police administration arrested Raja Uday Pratap Singh on the orders of the SDM.
On the orders of SDM Kunda Satish Tripathi, the police pasted a notice of detention at the house of Jugnu Vishwakarma, Mohanlal. At the same time, it was said in the order of the SDM that they should not leave the house under any circumstances till 9 o’clock on the 10th night of Muharram. Till now, three including Uday Pratap have been placed under house arrest due to tension over Muharram. Heavy police force has been deployed in Sheikhpur village.
