Jamui: Guruji from other places including Uttar Pradesh is attending the schools located in Jamui. This has not been officially confirmed yet, but the matter is also in the notice of the officer. The DPO of the Education Department said that he has received such information. Efforts are being made to arrest such teachers along with investigation of the case. If caught, strict action will be taken including suspension.
Some teachers also told on the condition of anonymity that by keeping the mobile in flight mode, attendance can be registered from anywhere. There is no need to live within 500 meters of the school. There are a large number of such teachers in other blocks including Sono. If the department investigates the location of the school and the recorded attendance, a bigger picture will emerge.
The Education Department is continuously detecting fraud in making presence on e-Shiksha Fund in the district. Attendance has been made by taking photo from photo, photo of other teacher, photo of the school. Such a case has again come to light in the random investigation of the Education Department. The latest case is related to the newly created primary school Karmatand of Sono block. The department has sought clarification in this matter from the three teachers here.
