Raipur: Women are writing the story of success by joining the National Rural Livelihood Mission. Today, by joining the State Rural Livelihood Mission Scheme, rural women are setting an example of self-reliance. Under this, Ravikumari of Udagan of Maa Sahodra Self Help Group thought of doing something different and through the group started the work of tailoring, vegetable garden, e-rickshaw, vegetable business and making thala paas. Due to these activities Ravikumari has become Lakhpati Didi today. They are self-reliant today. Their health, education and social status has improved significantly. Now they are educating their children well.
Didi Ravikumari Tandon, Lakhpati of village Udgan of Bilha block of Bilaspur district, said that now she is not only financially self-reliant with the National Rural Livelihood Mission but she is also running her own business from her home using the amount received from the scheme. . She says that after joining the self-help group, the women’s confidence has increased and they are learning a lot through this medium. After getting the information, guidance was also received regarding setting up self-employment. Loan amount was sanctioned under the scheme, which helped him to set up his business. Now his family is moving towards economic empowerment.
Describing the difficulties of her past, Ravikumari says that earlier she used to do only agriculture and labor work. By doing farming for a year, he could earn only Rs 55,000 annually due to which there was difficulty in the education of his children and running the family at home. But after joining the group, he took a loan of Rs 3 lakh from the bank and established his own business in his own home. Ravikumari is now earning income at home along with agricultural work by doing vegetable gardening, tailoring, vegetable business, making thaal poos. Now she has also taken an e-rickshaw and through all these activities she is contributing to the financial condition of her family. His income is Rs 55 thousand in agricultural work, Rs 36 thousand in tailoring work, Rs 24 thousand from vegetable garden, Rs 15 thousand in making thali pos, Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand in vegetable business and Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand from e-rickshaw. It is happening. He is earning Rs 4 lakh 43 thousand per year. Now his family is happy after taking advantage of the government schemes.
Ravikumari says that the initiative of the Central and State Government to make women financially self-reliant has proved to be a boon for all women like her. She is helping her family overcome financial difficulties through self-employment and is proving to be an example for those around her. Ravi Kumari expressed her wholehearted gratitude and thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai for the scheme.
