Bhopal. A sales officer working for a private company in Kolar area defrauded a businessman of about Rs 7.60 lakh by luring him to invest in his business. According to the police, the complainant Amit Rai, son of Firtu Rai, while giving a written complaint, said that he lives in Sarvdharma Colony and does private business. Some time ago he met Raj Mishra, a sales officer working in a private company. Ram Mishra had also got him the dealership of some company. Due to which there was a lot of familiarity between them. Later, Raj Mishra deceived him and said that if he worked with him and invested money in the business, he would get a lot of profit. Trusting him, the complainant gave him Rs 7 lakh 60 thousand in different installments. Shortly after taking the money, when the complainant talked to him about the business, he kept evasive and later stopped picking up her calls. When Amit could not contact Raj Mishra even after many efforts, he realized that the accused had taken money from him by duping him. The troubled complainant approached the police, after investigating the complaint, the police registered a case of defamation against the accused and started searching for him.
