It has been reported that violent clashes between the two parties took place during the Holi procession in Ghodathmba of Dhanwar assembly constituency of the district. During this time, after the incident of stone pelting and arson, several shops operated in the pavement and four -wheelers parked in the market and about half a dozen motorcycles were set on fire.

The people involved in the procession had reached playing the traditional instrument, which was opposed by the other side. This is where the talk started growing. During this time, the shops were started vandalizing. Many shops were set on fire. Many bikes and cars were also set on fire.
Police chased the miscreants
The same incident reached the police and drove the miscreants and controlled the situation. After the incident, apart from SP, DDC, ASP campaign Surjit Kumar, DSP and SDPO, many inspectors, Dhanwar police station in -charge Satendra Pal, in -charge of several police stations and other officers are camping at the scene. CCTV footage was investigated to identify the miscreants. At the same time, the entire area has been converted into a police camp.

SP Dr. Bimal Kumar said that the police is identifying the miscreants and will be arrested soon. In this violent incident, the two sides clashed for about an hour. At present, peace remains in the area and police surveillance has been increased. The situation could be controlled after much effort from the police-administration. During this, the SP said that people who disturb the peace will not be spared in any case. He said the situation is under complete control. He has appealed to the people not to pay attention to the rumor.
