
Bhopal . Rajiv Gandhi Technological University (RGPV) has issued an ordinance regarding the National Education Policy. In this, rules have been made to implement the provisions of multiple entry-exit (student can come and go anytime) in engineering courses B.Tech. According to this, the university will give a certificate to the student leaving after completing one year, diploma on two years, B vocational on three years and bachelor’s degree to the student who has completed four years of studies. That is, B.Tech students can complete their studies by taking admission anytime after taking admission and after leaving the course, taking re-admission within five years. For this, students have to enter within five years. Under this, there will be a provision of 10 percent seat allotment for the students who are re-admitted after the exit, in every semester of each branch every year. This provision has been approved by the Academic Council. Now it will be placed in the meeting of the Executive Council. After getting the approval from here, it will be implemented. This will benefit the students of about 160 engineering colleges affiliated to RGPV.
After one year the exit will have to do bridge course
This new provision also mentions that a student who is out after completing one year of studies will have to take a ten credit bridge course, of which six credits will be necessary for job internship or apprenticeship. It will be mandatory for such students to do bridge course in the syllabus of any subject decided by the respective Board of Studies. It has also been provided that for the students taking re-admission after leaving the course, there will be a provision of ten percent seats in each branch every year. as will be. The possibility of admission to the remaining applicants in the next session will be subject to availability. On the other hand, provision has been made in the ordinance for internship that in the fourth year, if a student is provided job internship by a company, then in such a situation the student will be eligible to earn credit by studying his fourth year course on his own portal. . It will be necessary for such a student to take a guide from the institute conducting the internship. Also, it will be mandatory that the topic of their major project is related to internship or the student will also have to compulsorily submit the thesis of the concerned subject to the institution.
This provision has been approved by the Academic Council. Now it will be placed in the meeting of the Executive Council. After getting the approval from here, it will be implemented.
