Taking oath for vote violates model code of conduct, SDM issued notice…

In this oath is being administered to Budhadev, mother Danteshwari, mother Sheetla as witnesses that they will not support any political party. Will work with dedication for the society. If a political party is promoted, social action will be taken.

Block office bearers of Sarv Adivasi Samaj, block office bearers of Gond Samaj, block office bearers of Halba Samaj, Gaita, Patel are said to participate in this oath. SDM issued notice
On the other hand, SDM Bhanupratappur has issued a notice after the video of motivating the members of Gondwana community to vote for a candidate went viral. Considering the violation of this election code of conduct sent to the concerned people, it has been said in the notice that why action should not be taken against you under section 188 of the IPC. For this, a written reply has been called in the office on 28th November.
