Jaipur . Governor Haribhau Bagde said that the nation is not just a territory, it is an idea related to culture and eternal values. He said that the mentality that nation is first and everything else comes later should be spread. He said that the values acquired in school shape the future. Discussing the education system started by Macaulay in the country, he said that through this, continuous efforts have been made to uproot Indian culture. He said that no one can ever erase Sanatan Dharma because it is mixed in our blood.
While addressing the Navvotkarsh Vikram Samvat 2081 program at a hotel, Bagde said that there has been a continuous experiment to erase Indian culture, but it is a living culture. Discussing ancient Indian inventions, he said that the British had written in the Gazette before independence that there are more Gurukuls in Britain than in India. Discussing the ancient Indian knowledge tradition, gravity theory, use of decimal etc., he said that from the Vedic period, we established those principles which the West later adopted. He said that the glorious history of the nation is revealed only through the education system. A new education policy has been formulated and implemented in the country with the idea of Indianness in mind. This should be implemented effectively. He said that in a country whose people forget their history, their geography also diminishes. Therefore, everyone should work together for Sanatan Indian values. Make India a developed nation. In the beginning, the Governor also visited the photo exhibition related to the glorious rulers of ancient India and Sanatan culture organized by Navotas Foundation.
