
On this day i.e. on 14 February, there was a big terrorist attack in Pulwama six years ago. Large quantities of soldiers were martyred in the attack. Today, PM Modi has paid tribute to the martyrs on the sixth anniversary of the Pulwama attack.
Along with this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to 40 CRPF personnel who were martyred. Shah also said that the Narendra Modi government is determined to completely destroy them by campaigning with the policy of ‘zero tolerance’ against terrorists.
PM Modi said,
I pay tribute to the soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack. The coming generations will never forget the sacrifice and courage of these martyred soldiers towards the country.
Amit Shah said in a post on X,
I pay my enthusiasm to the soldiers who were martyred in the cowardly terrorist attack in Pulwama on this day in 2019 on behalf of the entire nation. Terrorism is the biggest enemy of the entire humanity and the whole world is united against it.
Shah further said that whether it is a surgical strike or an air strike, the Modi government is determined to completely destroy them by campaigning with a policy of ‘zero tolerance’ against terrorists.
Pulwama attack took place in 2019
Let us know that Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed targeted a bus carrying the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Pulwama on 14 February 2019, in which 40 soldiers were killed. A few days later, Indian Air Force fighter aircraft bombed terrorist camps in Balakot inside Pakistan.
