Chhattisgarh Assembly: Today i.e. 17th December is the second day of the winter session of the Assembly in Chhattisgarh. The government has presented the supplementary budget on the first day. Which is being discussed in the House today. The opposition can create a lot of ruckus on this. The opposition can corner the government on paddy procurement and other issues. The government has presented a supplementary budget of more than Rs 805 crore on the first day. In this, Rs 200 crore has been sought for major infrastructure and Rs 25 crore has been sought to compensate for the losses of airline companies. Similarly, budget has been sought for other schemes. It will be passed after discussion today.
The discussion is taking place in the House on the second day of the winter session of the Assembly. Meanwhile, Ajay Chandrakar also surrounded his minister in the House. He raised the issue of beautification in Budhatlab in the House. While replying, Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao was surrounded. Chandrakar asked on what item the money was spent. On this, Arun Sao said that all the work has been done under Smart City. The funds of Tourism Board, Corporation and Smart have been spent. This matter should be investigated. Arun Sao said in the House that there should be an investigation. Rajesh Munat said that three agencies have done the work. A fountain worth Rs 6 crore has been installed, but it is closed.

This budget has been sought for various development works in the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Mukhyamantri Samagra Gramin Vikas Yojana, infrastructure in urban bodies and tourism sector. In this, a demand has been made for Rs 250 crore for NRLM, Rs 200 crore for infrastructure in cities, Rs 100 crore for Mukhyamantri Samagra Gramin Vikas Yojana, Rs 97.50 crore for development works in tourism areas. A demand of Rs 25 crore has been made for the smooth operation of commercial aircraft and to compensate for the flight expense cost loss.
