There will be no work in MP for 127 days
Bhopal . The government calendar of holidays for the year 2025 has been released in Madhya Pradesh. There will be a total of 127 days of holidays in the new year. That means there will be 238 days of government work next year. Holidays have reduced in the year 2025 as compared to the year 2024. Actually, holidays have reduced due to some festivals falling on Sunday.
There will be 238 days of government work in Madhya Pradesh in the year 2025. Whereas 127 days have been declared public holidays. Which also includes 52 Saturdays and 52 Sundays. There are 4 less holidays in 2025 compared to 2024. Republic Day (January 26), Gudi Padwa (March 30), Ram Navami (April 6), and Moharram (July 6) fall on Sunday, reducing 4 holidays. At the same time, 22 general and 17 public holidays have been declared. All central and state offices will remain closed on public holidays. Whereas general holidays will apply only to state offices. Apart from this, 68 optional holidays have been declared. In these, employees can take 3 leaves of their choice.
4 days holiday on Diwali
This time there will be a holiday of 4 days on Diwali. This time Diwali is on 20th October, Monday. Govardhan Puja is on Tuesday 21st October. Whereas Thursday 23rd October is an optional holiday for Bhai Dooj. In between, only Wednesday will be a working day.
