Bhopal: On the second day of the winter session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Congress MLAs reached the Assembly carrying the bowl. The leaders protested on the issues of unemployment, inflation and increasing debt. Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar accused the BJP government of worsening the economic condition of the state by taking loans. He termed it a ‘loan-taking and ghee-drinking government’.

Leader of Opposition Singhar said in the Assembly that ‘when the leadership is weak, debt becomes a burden and the public has to bear the brunt of it. What the BJP government has done in Madhya Pradesh is not only an economic crime, but it is also a terrible betrayal of the future of the state.
The BJP government is taking loans but is not able to do development. The BJP government is drinking ghee by taking loans.
Government is begging with a bowl
Singhar said that BJP and its Chief Minister Mohan Yadav not only burdened the state with debt, but also converted this debt into a treasury filled with the hard work of the people for political gains. The BJP government has burdened Madhya Pradesh with debt and is still begging with a bowl.
Government taking loan by going abroad
While talking to the media, Singhar said that the government is taking so much loan, but is not able to develop. The public is not getting facilities, the youth are not getting employment, the beloved sisters are not getting the installment of the scheme, but the government is continuously going abroad and taking loans.
