Jaipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (PKC-ERCP) in Jaipur on Tuesday. After laying the foundation stone of the first phase of this drinking water and irrigation project for 21 districts of the state, PM Modi will also address a public meeting here.
Irrigation and water will be available in these areas
Let us tell you that this project will affect the state’s Dausa, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Baran, Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Tonk, Karauli, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Gangapur City, Beawar, Dudu, Kekri, Kotputli-Behror, Khairthal- Drinking water and irrigation water will be available in Tijara, Deeg and Jaipur Rural.
On the other hand, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that farmers will not be able to get irrigation water from this project being built by the BJP government. Despite repeated demands, the state government is not making public the MoU signed with Madhya Pradesh regarding the project. The public has the right to know about the MOU.
