Jaipur. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects in Jaipur, Rajasthan. PM Modi said that in the last one year, Bhajan Lal and his team have worked very hard to give new momentum and new direction to the development of Rajasthan. In a way, this first year has laid a strong foundation for the years to come.
He said that today’s celebration is not limited to the completion of one year of the government, it is also a celebration of the spreading light of Rajasthan. It is also a celebration of the development of Rajasthan. Just a few days ago I came to Rajasthan for the investment summit. Big investors from across the country and the world had gathered here. Today, projects worth more than Rs 45-50 thousand crore have been inaugurated and foundation stones laid here. This project will prove to be a permanent solution to the water challenge in Rajasthan.
PM Modi said that I congratulate the people of Rajasthan, the BJP government of Rajasthan for completing one year and after this one year journey, you have come in such large numbers to give blessings. I am also fortunate that today I have been able to receive your blessings. PM Modi said that Congress never wanted to reduce the problems of water from your life. Instead of finding a solution, Congress has been promoting water disputes between the states.
Modi said that Rajasthan has suffered a lot because of this diplomacy. Just a few days ago, BJP has formed the government in Maharashtra for the second time and looking at the election results, it has got majority for the third consecutive time. There too, BJP has got more seats than before. Before this, BJP government has been formed in Haryana for the third consecutive time. In Haryana also, people have given more majority than before. Even in the recently held by-elections in Rajasthan, we have seen how people have supported BJP. This shows how much faith the public has in the work of BJP and the hard work of its workers.
The agreement for the revised Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project was signed between the Government of Rajasthan and the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the presence of PM Narendra Modi. Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma and Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav exchanged MoUs. On the occasion of completion of one year of Rajasthan government and inauguration of 24 projects, CM Bhajan Lal said that under the Chief Minister Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan, as soon as the government was formed, we did more than one lakh works for rain water harvesting in the villages, so that local water resources were created for drinking and farming. There is a vast improvement in the availability of water at the level itself.
