Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Indian Administrative Service officers have an important role in creating a unique image of a vast and diverse country like India in the world. Today India has a distinct identity and the country is viewed with respect. The nature of Indian Administrative Service is different from other services. It is through hard work as well as God-given luck that a person gets the opportunity to serve the public through the Indian Administrative Service. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program by inaugurating the Civil Service Meet-2024 organized by Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers Association at the Academy of Administration. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by presenting him Angavastram. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain presented the symbol to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
Officials make history only by taking decisions efficiently.
Referring to the mythological context, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is best to utilize the God-given fame in the public interest. Indian Administrative Service officers are capable of bringing positive changes in the lives of people and bringing order to the systems. Such initiatives taken at the individual level provide happiness and satisfaction. According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officers make history only by their efficiency and wise decisions along with better opportunities and their better implementation.
The efficiency of IAS officers in implementing decisions is commendable.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the legislature, judiciary and executive have different responsibilities in running the system. Their discharge also has its own expertise. All these institutions have contributed at their respective levels in maintaining democracy. He said that taking a decision or giving an idea is easy, but its implementation on a larger scale is challenging. The efficiency of Indian Administrative Service officers in implementing decisions is praiseworthy.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the brainstorming of the Civil Service Meet will be helpful in building a new Madhya Pradesh of the new era. Consideration should be given to structuring an institution to share the long experiences of administrative officers. This will provide a platform to exchange ideas with people from different fields and contribute to the progress of the country and public welfare even after their service period. The present times of India are very favorable and positive in view of the events taking place in the global scenario. This can be assessed from the developments happening in neighboring countries. As the world’s largest democracy, India’s systems are presenting an example to the world. The contribution of Indian Administrative Service officers is important in this.
Service meets help in developing team spirit and knowing and learning about innovations.
Association President Mohammad Suleman said that he always receives guidance from Chief Minister Dr. Yadav as the head of the family. The three-day service meet provides an opportunity to the association members to develop team spirit, know and learn about innovations and prepare themselves to deliver better results.
