His wife, who came from behind, attacked him with acid and ran away. Neighbors arrived when the husband screamed for help and took him to the hospital. According to Chandan Nagar police station, the incident took place in Nandan Nagar located in the police station area, where on Monday morning at around 7 am, Mukesh’s father Pyarelal Surage was thrown acid by his wife Nirmala when he was in the bathroom.
